Rapper Nicki Minaj went ahead with her performance in Angola despite calls for her to cancel the show.
Homan Right Activist group had earlier wrote to Nicki to cancel the show because of Angolan president history with corruption and autocracy.

“The payment you are receiving from your Angolan sponsors is the result of government corruption and human-rights violations,” wrote Thor Halvorssen, president of the Human Rights Foundation.
