Masquerades Storm Church, Flog Pastors In Ondo

Pastors of a branch of the Christ Apostolic Church (CAC) in Einmi Akoko, Ondo State were bitterly flogged by masquerades that forced themselves into the church.  Four masqueraders reportedly stormed the church and went straight to where the pastors were sitting and flogged them.


It was learnt that two of the pastors, identified as Jacob Ogunmola and Kehinde Ilori, were injured by the masqueraders The source added that while the pastors were being flogged, the members of the church fled. The reason behind the action of the masqueraders had yet to be known.

The Police Public Relations Officer in the state, Mr. Wole Ogodo, confirmed the incident and said one person, Tunde Arohunmolase, was arrested, adding that he had made useful statement. He said the two pastors that were injured had been treated and discharged from the hospital, adding that the fleeing masqueraders would soon be arrested.
