 Usain Bolt returned to competition at the Anniversary Games and produced a time of 9.87 in both the semi-finals and the final.

The Jamaican sprinter missed out on the Diamond League meetings in Lausanne and Paris due to a pelvic injury, but returned to the track on Friday at London’s Olympic Stadium, where he won three gold medals during the 2012 Olympics.

Bolt, who had been unable to dip below the 10-second mark this season (his best was 10.12), came in first in spite of a very poor start.
