Manchester United signing Memphis Depay is set to be handed a new shirt number.The Daily Star says Depay is poised to be handed the No.7 shirt at Manchester United.


With Angel Di Maria set to join Paris St-Germain for £45.9m, the legendary number will become vacant.

United’s new adidas strip for next season is not yet on sale so official squad numbers are yet to be confirmed.

But the deal to sell Di Maria could be finalised as soon as next week, paving the way for Depay to be handed his preferred No.7.
