Bomb Blast Hits Gombe State Prior To Sallah Holiday

The bombing spree is still on as an explosion has occurred at the central market in Gombe State capital. The incident took place at about 5pm on Thursday being the 16th of July (Today).


 According to sources, many are feared dead and several injured as the market was full with people who were shopping against the sallah break before the bomb went off. “They planted bombs in a vehicle and another one in a very busy section of the market,” a resident told The Cable. “The market is one of the biggest in the state and the casualty is certainly going to be high because people were preparing for tomorrow’s Sallah,” he added
The market is said to be one of the largest markets in the state.
